Åter (ˈɛːtɛrː) is a wooden cutting board I designed with Shiski a concept space for design and handcraft in my hometown. The idea behind it is to give a second life to trees and that’s the reason why I chose his name:
åter is the Swedish prefix for Re- (Reuse, Recycle, Remedy)
It consists in a simple octagon whose design can be various and with thousands of different declinations.
It is a perfect item to have food cut in always the same slice and it also has a tiny place to temporarily collect foodwaste.
